Clear Creek Polypays started in 1989 when Bobby was just 9 years old. That summer Bobby's parents took him to the WIU Ram Test Sale where they purchased a pen of three polypay ewe lambs. Then in 1993, we bought out the Whispering Pines polypay flock from Dwight Brown. Slowly the flock grew over the 1990's, adding ewes from various flocks such as Van Well, Crago and Shady Lawn. In 1997, we purchased the National Champion ram from the Crago sheep farm. In 1999, we purchased the Sperry sheep flock from Don Sperry in Idaho.

Today Bobby is married to Heidi Hood, and together we have two sons Bailey and Brody Hood to carry on the polypay tradition

Today we are focusing on producing a balanced polypay sheep. One that not only produces twins and triplet lambs consistently, inline with breed's founding expectations, but also one's that are structurally correct and show worthy. We are experimenting with breed's ability to create new bloodlines by crossing the four founding breeds together. Soon we anticipate rejoining NSIP, to use EPDs as another performance tool in our toolbox.
